1. Data processed
Worldbid processes locale and currency preferences, the selected nominee, public alias, payment amount/currency/status, Stripe identifiers, and limited technical security data. Stripe processes card details; Worldbid never stores full card numbers.
2. Purposes and legal bases
Data is used to provide the ranking, reconcile payments, prevent abuse, resolve refunds and disputes, meet legal obligations, and keep the service secure. The applicable bases may include performance of the requested service, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.
3. Sharing and international transfers
Payment data is shared with Stripe and infrastructure data with hosting and database providers only as needed to run the service. Their own terms and safeguards apply. Worldbid does not sell personal data.
4. Retention and cookies
Financial records are kept for legally required periods. Security identifiers are pseudonymized and retained only as needed. A strictly necessary cookie remembers language; no advertising cookie is currently used.
5. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and complain to your data protection authority. Requests: legal@worldbid.lol. Public aliases are optional; choose Anonymous if preferred.
