How payment errors, refunds, and ranking reversals are handled.

1. Immediate ranking effect
A confirmed contribution is applied to the selected ranking as soon as Stripe's webhook is processed. It is a voluntary participation payment and does not promise a permanent ranking position.
2. When to contact us
Contact us promptly for a duplicate or unauthorized payment, an incorrect amount, a technical failure, or where applicable law gives you a refund or withdrawal right. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory rights.
3. How to request
Email legal@worldbid.lol with the Stripe receipt or Checkout Session reference, date, amount, and reason. Never send card numbers. We may request reasonable evidence to prevent fraud.
4. Processing
Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method through Stripe. Bank processing time varies. Partial refunds may result in a proportional score reduction.
5. Ranking correction and disputes
A refund or payment dispute automatically removes the corresponding score, in whole or proportionally. Please contact us before opening a bank dispute so payment errors can be investigated quickly.
